Furniture Guide: Gorgeous Stools for the Bedroom

Whilst this is the same for furniture made for bedrooms, they tend to have a little more design in it because they are made to either stand alone or to match a dresser of table in your room as well as the other furniture in the room. Stools made for bedrooms tend to have a cushion top to match the cozy and comfy feel that a bedroom should have. While this is normally the case, there are really no hard and fast rules to bedroom stools. Your choice of bedroom stools would heavily depend on what you plan to use it for and where you plan to place it. For instance, if your room sports a rather modern design, you may want to choose a stool that matches the design of your room. If your room already has lots of centerpieces (such as a heavily ornamented bed, huge painting, etc) then you may want to choose a stool that does not steal the limelight from the centerpiece of the room. Vanity stools are by far the most common of all stools for bedrooms. These stools are usually coupled with a dressing table. If you are buying a piece separately, it is best that you get the measurements right so that it can slip under the vanity table when not in use (that is if you want it to be that way). Dark colors like black and brown are always the safest if you are not sure which colors to choose from. Furniture designers are getting very creative nowadays with stools where there are so many adventurous designs to choose from (check out the online stores). For instance, you can get a stool that can also serve as a lamp (see the collections section). There are also some larger stools that have a small drawer underneath for storage. Personally, I prefer to get a bedroom stool that doesn’t have thick legs and have a brown top. I feel that this is the most versatile combination, as they would easily match many bedroom designs. This way, I can re-use the stool over and over again over time in different rooms with different designs. Like all furniture, it is always worthwhile to invest in a good one as a well made stool can last for generations (they usually look better too). Well this is just my two cents worth on bedroom stools. Good luck in your quest of finding the perfect one! |
